xmas lights.....

So, last year we purchased a lot of lights for the outside of the house but have been so busy this year that we did not get to put them up. Plus, our neighbors love decorating the outside of their house at Christmas time (they should enter a contest)and when we pull up to our house each day Lucas asks me "when will we decoration our house?" so I found this picture and I had to post it!

Easier said than done...

We took some new pictures of the kids together. I did not realize that this is waaaaay easier said than done! I cannot believe how hard it is to get both of them to sit still for a picture! Oh and you may notice my new addiction.....flower headbands! They are so cute.

a play day...

We had gorgeous weather (about as nice as it gets in November) so we had to take a day just to play! We spent most of the day outside playing on the swing set and in the yard.

I can't believe 6 months have gone by already, but the good news is that the pictures are here and they are so cute. I love the one with the hat!

Happy Halloween

Luke had a blast trick-or-treating with the neighbor even though it was really chilly out. The two of them were sooo cute together in the wagon!

And of course my little pumpkin was adorable! It's one of those costumes that we pass around the family to whoever needs it for that year! The cupcakes were a treat that I made for a neighborhood party that Lucas was invited to.

Apples Apples Everywhere

FALL is one of my favorite seasons! I love the hayrides, apple cider, pumpkin seeds, leaf piles in the backyard, and of course the caramel apples! However, there is only one thing that we are not so excited about.....that would be the 4 huge apple trees in the backyard that drop hundreds of apples for us to take care of before winter. Every year Jason tells me to leave them for the squirrels, but I can't do it.....they're everywhere!
